Privacy notice
Short version: this site has no tracking, no cookies, no third-party scripts, and no server-side form processing. Last updated .
What this site is
mariobrcic.com is a static website served from Cloudflare Pages. Every page you see is a pre-built HTML file. There is no application server, no database, and no backend reading your requests beyond the standard delivery layer.
What is collected
Nothing by this site. Specifically:
- No analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, nothing).
- No cookies set by this domain.
- No tag managers, advertising pixels, or session-replay tools.
- No third-party JavaScript embedded in pages.
- No form submissions captured server-side. The contact form opens your own email client via
mailto:; the message goes directly from you to the recipient.
The hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard HTTP request metadata — IP address, user agent, timestamp — for delivery, caching, and basic abuse prevention, in line with their published privacy practices. This site does not access or retain that data.
Outbound links and embedded resources
Pages link out to ORCID, Google Scholar, GitHub, LinkedIn, Substack, the FER faculty profile, arXiv, and It From Bit. Visiting those sites is governed by their own privacy policies. This site does not track which links you click.
Fonts (DM Sans, DM Serif Display, Kristi) are self-hosted from this domain — there is no Google Fonts CDN call.
Contact data flow
The contact form uses a mailto:
action: when you submit it, your operating system opens your email
client with a pre-filled message addressed to
mario@mariobrcic.com.
The message is sent from your own email account, through your own
provider, to the recipient. This site never sees the message.
Replies are handled outside this domain. If you would prefer to write directly without using the form, the address above is the same target.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
GDPR / data-subject rights
Because no personal data is collected by this site, there is nothing to access, rectify, or erase on this side. If you have previously sent an email to the address above, requests about that correspondence can be made directly to the same address.
